Motorcycle Module 1 Course Circuit Layout

Motorcycle module 1 practical test requires that you undergo manoeuvres on an off-road course to demonstrate you have good control of the vehicle.

The layout of the motorcycle manoeuvring area can vary depending on the location of the DVSA test centre that you take the module 1 test.┬áThe various manoeuvres you’ll be required to demonstrate to the examiner are:

  1. wheeling the moped or motorcycle and using the stand
  2. riding a slalom and figure of 8
  3. slow ride
  4. U-turn
  5. cornering and controlled stop
  6. cornering and the emergency stop
  7. cornering and hazard avoidance

Module 1 Course Layout

Detailed below are the various course layouts that you can expect to see at a DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency) motorcycle test centre.
